Very sweet staff, kept me informed of wait times, and guided me being that it was our first time here.

I got nervous when they told me it would be a little bit for our food, but came out very quickly.

Had the brisket with rice and coleslaw, also had the bbq wings.

The burger was great and the Mac and cheese with brisket was awesome.

All in all huge portions, great service, excellent food.

Queens girl visiting the outskirts for a while, great ribs and okay drinks, the service was rather quick but the waitress forgot one of our orders and we were the only table there. I'm a waitress myself, and it doesn't hurt to use a notepad for a four top. We were not rushed and we were checked on about every 10 min which was great! Seriously, we devoured the food. Baby back ribs highly recommended, wings/ rice (not so much).

Okay fine, I'll add a bit more.

A co-worker whom I do not trust to know anything about good BBQ suggested I come here. After 3 months, I finally did. Outside the place is a free parking lot (yea!) and I noticed firewood outside their building. Coulda been for show but still a very good sign.

Ordered a couple drinks with chicken and waffles for me and full baby back ribs with greens and baked beans for my friend. I also got a side of cornbread. The cornbread is so sweet it's really just big pieces of cake. My friend, that is not a complaint. The FIVE pieces of chicken was well seasoned, not too salty, crispy and delicious. The waffles were perfect (you can leggo your Eggo for these babies.)

I had a bite of my friends ribs and they were very good! I wish I had room in my tummy for the mac and cheese but I guess that's a reason to come back.

My only little objection is that they don't carry hot sauce. They have hot buffalo sauce for which they charge fifty cents.

So this was my second time here at DaddyO's. But it's been so long since I last came (from Massachusetts) that the last time I came it was their old location. So I'll start off with the service, atmosphere, and that type of stuff.

The service was good, and it was nice to see the ladies in good spirits on New Years Eve... I know no one wants to work because I used to do it. Atmosphere was nice, but I really missed all the old memorabilia that the old location had up, and so did my group. As we are big sports fans. So that was a little different. Also we really loved the Jukebox in there, and to my fellow Massholes... The New Yorkers responded better than I thought they would to me playing Shipping Up To Boston by the Dropkicks. So props to them for not making us feel bad for wanting a taste of home in NY.

Now onto the best part. The reason we came. THE FOOD, more importantly the Brisket. I have not found a place ANYWHERE who does sliced brisket like DaddyO's. So 4/8 people got Brisket. 3/4 were the sandwich and I got the platter. No shocker, everyone thought it was phenomenal. Shaved perfectly, juicy, salty, tender. The whole thing was just an out of body brisket experience... and that's why we came back. The rest of our party got A vegetable burger, a BLT, and Salads.. while I can't imagine they were anywhere near DaddyO's brisket, they all ranted and raved about the meals.

So for that, and continued consistency of excellent meals... 5/5. Thanks for another lovely meal.

P.S. sorry for no pictures. The brisket looked so good when it came out I had no choice but to immediately devour it, like a ravenous animal.

I'm seriously obsessed with this place...Everything I've ever ordered has been awesome...Even my 4 year old daughter is obsessed...We brought relatives from Sicily once and they were impressed by the appetizers alone.
